oh yea~ finally watched initial d yesterday ^^
BUT... i wasted $1.80... and like 2 hours.
u see, me, ally and yuwen were planning to watch the 4.50 show. i reached plaza sing at 4.10, then the queue was damn long... then there was the announcement. 4.10 show single seats left, 4.50 SOLD OUT! i was like wad the hell... and ally arrived like 5 mins later... yuwen was still at bishan cuz of her lit pt. so i told her 2 go check j8 1st while ally and i went to cineleisure. and well, i haven't replaced my ez-link yet, and ally wanted to take mrt cuz i wasn't really sure wad buses went there. so it was 90 cents dere.
and u noe wad? the moment we got on the train, ally had to tell me that she remembered NOT seeing initial d under cineleisure in life.
and well, i guess newspapers dun lie. HOW CAN ORCHARD CINELEISURE NOT SHOW INITIAL D??? EVEN IF THEY DUN WANNA MAKE THE MONEY, THEY CAN JUST DONATE IT TO CHARITY. THEY HAVE TO LOOK AT THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WATCH BUT CAN'T GET ANY FREAKING SEATS.
not like that's gonna help now. so we told yuwen it wasn't showing, and she said j8 next show was 6.50. might as well ask us to go back plaza sing. so ally called her mum, trying to get her mum to help us book tickets. but she didn't have the sense to ask her mum to book online. and her mum said she couldn't get thru to the cinemas via phone. argh.
so we rushed back to plaza sing. tt's where my other 90cents was wasted. we reached there at ard 5.15-5.30, just to get 2nd row seats. i can't believe a show can still be full house 2 weeks after coming out. nvm. just show how many jay fans there are =) i mean anne watched the preview and 3 times in cinemas...
and well along the way, my dad had to call me to ask where i got the money to watch my movie. so i just said i borrowed. and he went on to say sth like... 'who gave u permission to borrow money?' i mean like... wth? the only permission u nid to get from is the person lending the money. argh. and he threatened to come and find me and drag me home, cuz i hadn't bought the ticekts yet.
at least for the 1st time, i really went against my parents. not that i should be feeling happy or anything, but it's just... i dunno... and well, he surprisingly din kill me.
oh yea. initial d so funny xD expecially the beginning. it was like the funniest part.
jay chou came home from delivering tofu, and his father was drunk in the living room. so he tries to wake his father up but to no avail. then he starts dragging his father up the stairs to his room, and when he almost reaches the top, he accidentally lets go of his father who tumbles down the stairs, and still doesn't wake up. then they show the 2 of them in the room, and jay chou is sitting opposite his father, and picks up his father by his head, and stares at him for a while. then he puts his father back down and his right hand is full of blood. and suddenly, his father jerks up and clings onto jay saying sth like 'lao po... bang wo huan nei yi...'
then they show next day, when the father wakes up, and starts yelling sth like 'who the hell changed my underwear'. then he runs to the stairs and starts yelling for jay hu's alrdy out working. when he realises that jay isn't in, he looks down at his pants again and says 'hai shi nu ren de nei yi...'. then he turns around and there's this bandage in the middle of his head.
a great way to start a movie if u ask mi. never seen a movie start with sth so funny b4.. then after the movie ended, we all chiong to the toilet, cuz yuwen and me were like very urgent... then after that rite, we came out of the toilet, and i dunno y yuwen and ally were walking the opposite direction, so i looked at them and called to them, and when i turned around, i crashed into this guy. and those 2 were laughing like hell >.<
anyway, we took neoprints after that, even though we were seriously late. we took ok shots la, but the thing is, after taking, we were standing at the machine waiting to decorate our neoprints. and after waiting like 5 mins, we realise tt we've been standing at the wrong machine, and that there's only 50 seconds left to decorate 4 pictures. so we only decorated 2, 1 of them by ally, the other by me. the one by ally was half done, and she wrote the date wrongly. the wrote 5/7 instead of 4/7. at least the one i did said initial d! so it was still ok.
it seems like lingmin was wrong afterall about the 2 of them together. they seem to hit off better than me and either of them. sighx. *starts planning to watch a 2nd time* =D lolz... cyaz~
